TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

The Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (CCBD) is presenting an International Forum on: "Development of Behavioral - Intervention Plans and Supports: Changing Roles and Responsibilities". The forum will be February 19 - 20, 1999, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Keynote Presentations and Activities: Reauthorization of IDEA: Implications for Developing Behavioral Intervention Plans and Supports; Critical Elements of Quality Behavioral Intervention Plans; Strategies and Techniques to Integrate Critical Elements into Quality Behavioral Intervention Plans; Broad-Based Supports for Successful Interventions; Case Study Analysis and Development of Model Behavioral Intervention Plans.

The University of Oklahoma College of Education and College of Continuing Education is presenting a two day conference, February 4-5, 1999, at the Thurman White Forum Building in Norman, OK. The seminar features Sandra Rief, M. A., author of How to Reach and Teach ADD/ADHD Children. She is an author, consultant, and lecturer on effective strategies and interventions for meeting the needs of children with ADHD and Learning Disabilities. She is an award-winning special education teacher in the San Diego Unified School District.
