APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1. Send a resume that
includes graduate schools, awards, honors, student and professional activities, work experience, research, publications,
workshops and other presentations. Include any special skills, training or experience that you bring to the practice
of school psychology, including bilingualism, teaching experience, or mental health work experience.
2. Include a student copy of all transcripts of college level course work.
3. Provide a professional statement, not to exceed two single-spaced typewritten pages, that shall
include the following:
- A statement of professional goals including intent
to work in Oklahoma.
- A brief discussion of one critical issue facing
education today that may be directly impacted by school psychology services. This could include a brief description
of your potential contribution to this critical issue.
4. Provide one letter of recommendation.
Second year students may have a letter from a
faculty member of the school psychology
program. Letters from other faculty members or from work supervisors are also encouraged.
Selection Criteria: The OSPA Awards Committee will review all application documents,
and the following weighting procedure will be applied in the selection process:
